This painting started as a charcoal on canvas sketch that is now sold.

It was created during a tough place of vulnerability and impulses to do more. This image came to me as I was meditating, grounding myself.

 

Heavily inspired by Aslan and Lucy (The Chronicles of Narnia - C.S. Lewis). Painting the girl was quite emotionally difficult as I realized a lot of things about myself, one of them including my tendency to run away from myself.
